Samsung Launches Galaxy Xcover 4s Rugged Smartphone With Android 9 Pie

Samsung has announced its next rugged smartphone which is named as Galaxy Xcover 4s. If you are not aware, the device is the successor of Galaxy Xcover 4 which was launched in the year 2017.

The Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4s is priced at 299 Euros which is approximately Rs 23,491 and it will be available for purchase in Italy from next month.

The handset is IP68 and MIL-STD 810G-certified for its water-resistant capabilities. The IP68 certification allows the phone to withstand prolonged immersion in water at depths of up to 1.5 meters and is fully resistant to dust.

Samsung Galaxy XCover 4s features a 5.0-inch HD LCD display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels along with 294ppi pixel density and 16:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7885 processor. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card slot.

On the camera front, the phone features a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and an LED flash. For the front, there is a 5-megapixel shooter with f/2.2 aperture along with screen flash.

The phone runs on 2,800mAh battery which can be charged through USB-C and it runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack.
