Xiaomi Becomes Most Popular Smartphone Brand In India, Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus Follow

For the first time, BBK multinational corporation become the leading smartphone manufacturer in India. The firm sells well known smartphones from brands Oppo, Vivo, Realme and OnePlus.

Last year, One Plus became the recommended flagship smartphone brand in India followed by the viral success of OnePlus 6. Four highest selling smartphone brand for second quarter in India were all of Chinese brand and Samsung was the only non-Chinese brand.

According to reports from research firm Counterpoint Research, BBK group has now combined 30 percent share in smartphone market in India. Xiaomi and Samsung reached to their highest level of contribution in shipment during April-June 2019 along with other three brands Oppo, Vivo and Realme.

Xiaomi become India favourite brand in smartphone category after offering smartphone with impressive features in great price. The company made unparallel success in India for bringing affordable smartphone with innovative features for even the entry level smartphone users.

Other brands which made spot in top ten highest selling brands include Huawei, Moto now under Lenovo, Apple and Nokia. Lava also expanded its market share.―The Indian Wire
