WhatsApp working on cover photos for business accounts

Two months ago, WhatsApp has released the ability to set up cover photos for business accounts that install the latest versions of WhatsApp Business for iOS. The feature is still under development on WhatsApp beta for Android, but we have some more details about WhatsApp Desktop beta today.

As you can see in this screenshot, when you want to configure your business profile, you will be able to set up a custom cover photo in a future update of WhatsApp Desktop beta. Thanks to cover photos, you can enhance your business profile by adding a header image and when your customers and other businesses visit your profile, they will be able to view the cover photo. Note that this is another business tool, so cover photos cannot be setting up from standard WhatsApp accounts.

Unfortunately, the ability to set up a cover photo is only available on WhatsApp for iOS right now, but you can see it will be released on WhatsApp Desktop beta in the future. When we have more details about WhatsApp beta for Android and when it is rolled out to business users, we will post another article.
