VMware India Appoints R&D Centre Head
Global Cloud infrastructure and business mobility leader VMware on Monday announced the appointment of Ramkumar Narayanan who will be heading the company’s R&D centre in India as Vice President and Managing Site Director, India.
Prior to joining VMware, Narayanan was the General Manager of eBay Product Development Center, India and Global Head of Monetisation Products, responsible for generating the revenues for eBay.
“I am excited to be a part of VMware India. Not only is the VMware India site one of the largest in the world, it is also home to some of the best and brightest technology minds,” Narayanan said on his appointment.
“The Indian market offers unmatched scale and VMware India is well positioned to further consolidate its position as innovation leader in this market,” Narayanan added.
Prior to joining eBay, Narayanan was the Vice President of Global Product Management in Yahoo. – Business Standard
