Vi holds 27th AGM on August 29

The 27th Annual General Meeting of Vodafone Idea Limited was held on August 29, 2022 through Video Conferencing and other Audio Visual Means.

The following items of business were transacted at the AGM:
To appoint a Director in place of Sunil Sood who retires by rotation, and being eligible, offered himself for re-appointment and

To appoint a Director in place of Mr. Diego Massidda who retires by rotation, and being eligible, offered himself for re-appointment.

“Vodafone Idea has actively participated in the auction and acquired the mid-band 5G spectrum in 17 priority circles and millimeter wave 5G spectrum in 16 circles. This will enable Vodafone Idea to embark on its 5G rollout journey in the country,” Ravinder Takkar, non-executive chairman, Vi.

“We are in discussions with various vendors for 5G procurements, and also with banks for funding arrangements. Once these two things are in place, we will take actions for deployment of 5G. Firm 5G rollout timelines will be announced as and when these discussions are complete, ” said Akshaya Moondra, CEO, Vi.
