TCS gets Telefonica Germany as customer

Telefónica Germany, a leading integrated telecommunications provider in Germany, has chosen Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to assist the latter in transforming its end-to-end service assurance applications and processes within its Operations Support Systems (OSS) stack and further improving customer experience.

Telefónica Germany intends to drive innovation through continuous digital transformation in order to improve people’s lives and provide connectivity to individuals and businesses.

To realize this vision, the telecom operator chose TCS as its transformation partner to create a future-ready OSS that will provide customers with a reliable, resilient, and secure network experience.

TCS will modernize the OSS service assurance application estate using cloud-native technologies and AI/ML to predict and pre-empt network faults, as well as best-in-class methodologies such as Agile, DevOps, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and Continuous Testing (CI/CD/CT),

This will allow Telefónica Germany to implement zero-touch cloud-based operations and provide a more resilient network service to customers. Service assurance processes that have been reimagined will result in faster turnaround times and a better customer experience, stated the company in its media release.

Furthermore, Telefónica Germany’s OSS landscape’s new future-ready, simplified service assurance systems will help accelerate the launch of newer products, including new 5G-based growth areas, with near-zero downtime. IIFL Securities
