Singtel Launches APAC eSports League with Razer, Other Partners

The Singtel Group announced that it will roll out its eSports initiative with the launch of the PVP eSports Championship, a multi-title and regional league with a prize pool of USD 300,000. This is part of the group’s efforts to expand its gaming and digital content business across its footprint in the Asia Pacific region. To be held in Singapore from 5 to 7 October, the PVP eSports Championship is in line with Singtel Group’s plans to foster an eSports ecosystem and community together with its Australian subsidiary Optus and regional associates Airtel, AIS, Globe and Telkomsel.  – Telecompaper
