Realme To Launch 64MP Quad Camera Smartphone Around Diwali

Realme is all set to introduce the world’s first 64MP Quad Camera technology in India. The Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has today announced through its official twitter account, that company will unveil its world’s first 64MP Quad Camera technology at camera innovation event, scheduled to be held in Delhi on August 8th.

The new Realme Smartphone with 64Mp Quad Camera is expected to be launched around Diwali as per our sources.

Twitter post has a teaser showing the glimpse of the quad-camera module. The post reads ‘We are taking a leap in smartphone camera on 8th August and we are doing it here in India. Get ready as we unveil the world’s first 64MP Quad Camera on a smartphone at our camera innovation event. And this is among the first surprise of the season. Stay Tuned! #LeapToQuadCamera”.

Earlier, Madhav Sheth revealed that the upcoming realme flagship will have a Samsung GW1 64MP 1/1.72 sensor and 1.6µm pixel that will able to capture improved lowlight shots. He also posted a camera sample taken from the 64MP Quad Camera with “64MP AI Quad Camera” watermark. Realme had also posted a teaser image of the camera module on its Weibo account, a Chinese microblogging website, in which camera sensors were aligned vertically on the left side of the phone with the flash sitting right next to the camera sensors.

The 64MP Quad Camera setup is based on the latest Samsung’s ISOCELL Bright GW1 image sensor, that was introduced in the month of May this year. It is said to use Pixel-merging Tetracell technology to merge 16MP images into one thus providing a 64MP shots.

The Quad camera module will have three more sensors alongside the primary 64MP lens and expected to have an ultra-wide camera, telephoto lens and a depth sensor.―The Mobile Indian
