OPPO R15 Pro With Snapdragon 660 SoC And 6GB RAM Launched In India

The OPPO R15 Pro has been launched in India to compete in the mid-range segment of the country’s hyper-competitive smartphone market. The new OPPO R15 Pro has the Snapdragon 660 SoC, 6GB of RAM, dual rear cameras, and VOOC Flash Charge fast-charging as its highlights. The smartphone is now available to purchase in the country and will be exclusive to Amazon in the Indian market.

The OPPO R15 Pro price in India is Rs 25,990 and the handset will be available in only configuration in the country. As mentioned above, it will be up for grabs only via Amazon.in and comes in Cosmic Purple and Ruby Red colour options.

OPPO R15 Pro has a 6.28-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,280 pixels) OLED screen with 19:9 aspect ratio, 89 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 401ppi pixel density. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.0 custom skin. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC, backed by Adreno 512 GPU and 6GB of RAM. OPPO R15 Pro comes with 128GB of onboard storage and supports microSD cards of up to 256GB capacity.

In the camera department, the R15 Pro has a 20-megapixel + 16-megapixel dual camera setup on the back, both sensors with f/1.7 aperture. In the front is a 20-megapixel sensor for selfies — the company says the AI Beauty Technology 2.0 can enhance the accuracy of face recognition and intelligently analyze users in terms of gender, age, skin color and texture, face shape, and pupil characteristics. The connectivity suite includes Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, micro USB 2.0, and fingerprint sensor.
