Moto G7 To Launch In India Soon; Company Drops First Teaser

Motorola unveiled the new Moto G7 series early this year and after launching the Moto G7 Power in India, the company has now started teasing the Moto G7 smartphone in the country as well. The biggest highlights of the Moto G7 include waterdrop display design, 6.24-inch Full HD+ display, Water-repellent P2i coating, dual cameras, stock Android 9.0 Pie and more.

It should be noted that Motorola has not specified the exact date for the Moto G7 India launch but has confirmed that the smartphone will soon be coming to the country. On the other hand, the company has shared a short video on Twitter which also mentions a contest in which people can win a free Moto G7 smartphone. The Moto G7 price in India has been confirmed as of now, however, the smartphone was launched at $299 (roughly Rs. 21,360).

Moto G7 specifications

The Moto G7 sports a 6.24-inch (1080×2270 pixels) full-HD+ display with teardrop notch and Corning Gorilla Glass Protection. It is powered by the Qualcomm octa-core Snapdragon 632 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and of 64GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD. While the smartphone runs Stock Android 9.0 Pie out of the box, it supports dual SIM connectivity.

For optics, there is a 12-megapixel primary rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash and a 5-megapixel secondary camera with f/2.2 aperture. At the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture. Other features include a fingerprint scanner embedded in the Motorola branding, 4G VoLTE, micro USB Type-C support, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm audio jack and a 3000mAh battery with 15W TurboPower support.―Times Now
