Samsung May Launch Galaxy A90 On April 10

Samsung is going to launch a new smartphone on April 10, 2019. The company took to Twitter to announce the upcoming smartphone.

The tweet did not reveal the name of the soon-to-be-launched smartphone, the Twitterati has varied opinion on which handset is being launched. While some suggested that the company is taking the M-series to other regions, others suggest that the company may launch the Galaxy A90. Just last month, the company launched three Galaxy A smartphones — Galaxy A10, A30 and A50. The Galaxy A10 has been priced at Rs 8,490 for the 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage variant. The Galaxy A30 has been priced at Rs 16,990 has been priced at 4GB of RAM with an internal storage of 64GB variant. There are two variants of Galaxy A50 in India. The 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant costs Rs 19,990 while its 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 22,990.

The Galaxy A90 was recently spotted on the company’s official website in UK, in a dedicated website. According to a latest leak, the handset may feature a ‘sliding and rotating camera system’. The latest set of information comes from a tipster named Steve H McFly. In a post via Twitter, he wrote that the smartphone may feature a camera system that will be mix of camera system available in Oppo Find X and Oppo N1.

For those unaware, Oppo Find X comes with a motorized slider camera that opens up the camera module when in use and closes it automatically within half a second. Oppo N1, on the other hand, offers a rotating camera.

Rumors also state that the handset will feature the new Infinity display design, similar to other smartphones under the Galaxy A series.

It is also expected that the smartphone will run on Samsung One UI based on the latest Android Pie operating system. The Samsung Galaxy A90 is said to feature a 6.41-inch screen and may pack 6GB/8GB of RAM with 128GB internal storage. It is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC processor.―Gadgets Now
