Chinese smartphone maker has been in the Indian market for quite some time but the company has not launched any new smartphone lately. But this is not the case any more as Meizu is all set to launch its latest smartphone in India. The company has scheduled an event for today where it will unveil its budget smartphone — C9. The event will take place at 12MP in Delhi and those who wish to wash the live stream and go to company’s official Twitter and Facebook page of the company. The Meizu C9 is expected to come under Rs 10,000 price category.
The Meizu C9 features a 5.45-inch HD+ display with 720×1400 pixel resolution. Unlike the other smartphone available in the market, the Meizu C9 does not come with a notch screen display. The smartphone runs Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core SC9832E processor.
The handset comes with dual SIM functionality and offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. The users can further expand the storage up to 128GB by adding a microSD card. Measuring 146.4x 70 x 8.5mm, the smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. There is also an 8MP front camera with face unlock and f/2.2 aperture for selfies. It is also interesting to note that the smartphone does not have a fingerprint sensor.
The Meizu C9 is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options. The device will be up for purchase starting December 6 at 4pm on Amazon India website. – Gadgets Now
