The next phase of transformation will focus on accelerating the implementation of the AI North Star strategy. This strategy aims to strengthen Customer Love and develop Indonesia’s sovereign AI ecosystem.
For Indosat, this decision is more than just a routine change of office. It’s a confirmation of the business direction it has been pursuing for the past several years.

He also cited consistent leadership as the key to Indosat’s growth. The Board of Commissioners reportedly continues to place its full confidence in Vikram Sinha and his management team.
Beyond leadership, the Board of Commissioners also supports the company’s ambitious future targets. One of these targets is to double EBITDA in the coming period.
This target reflects the Board of Commissioners’ confidence in Indosat’s long-term strategic direction. Its primary focus remains on expanding sovereign AI and creating sustainable value for all parties.
AI becomes the new foundation of Indosat’s business

Beyond its connectivity business, the company is transforming into an AI TechCo. This move is marked by the development of new growth engines across various digital sectors.
Sovereign AI, cloud services, cybersecurity, and enterprise digitalization are its primary focuses. All of these initiatives are designed to strengthen the foundation of Indonesia’s future digital economy.
Strategic partnerships, including a collaboration with NVIDIA, have strengthened this initiative. Through Sahabat-AI, NeoCloud, and GPU Cloud services, Indosat’s digital infrastructure is becoming increasingly robust.
Indosat is even developing a distributed AI Grid to expand its computing reach. This project leverages the company’s existing national network and data center footprint.
This series of initiatives demonstrates that AI is no longer merely an add-on to the telecommunications business. It is now a new growth engine, aligned with the company’s core business.
