Honor 9X, Honor Magic Watch 2, Honor Band 5i Launched In India

Honor has launched three devices in the Indian market today. At an online launch event, Honor is bringing the Honor 9X smartphone in India. Along with the Honor 9X, the company has also launched a new range of wearables in the Indian market – the Honor Magic Watch 2 and the Honor Band 5i.

The Honor 9X has been priced at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB/128GB variant and the 6GB/128GB variant has been priced at Rs 16,999. The Honor 9X will be available on Flipkart starting from January 19.

The Honor Magic Watch 2 has been priced at Rs 12,999 and arrives with two weeks of battery life. The Magic Watch 2 in India has been priced at Rs 12,999 for the 46mm Charcoal variant, and Rs 14,999 for the 46mm Flax Brown variant. The price of the Honor Magic Watch 2 in Agate Black 42mm variant is Rs 11,999, while the 42mm Sakura Gold variant is priced at Rs 14,999. Interested buyers can purchase it on Amazon starting from January 19.

The Honor Band 5i has been priced at Rs 1,999 and will be available from January 19 via Amazon India platform.

The Honor Magic Watch 2 is basically a cheaper and a slightly re-designed version of the Huawei Watch GT2. The smartwatch gets a glass display with a special bezel and two crowns on the side. The Magic Watch 2 is powered by the Kirin A1 chipset, the same SoC which powered the Huawei Watch GT2.

Honor has also launched the Honor Band 5i which is a budget smart fitness band for the Indian market. The Band 5i features a new design with a built-in USB connector in the watch.

The Honor 9X is the latest entry in the Indian market and features an all-view display on the front with a pop-up camera for selfies.

The Honor 9X sports a 6.59-inch full-HD+ display and gets a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The Honor 9X is powered by the octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 810 processor and comes with 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage. The phone operates on the Android Pie with EMUI 9.1.1 on top.

In-camera specs, the Honor 9X features a triple rear camera module which comprises of a 48-megapixel primary rear sensor with f/1.8 lens, a 2-megapixel depth rear sensor, and an 8-megapixel wide-angle with a 120-degree field of view and comes with Intelligent Distortion Correction. There is also a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.2 lens which is a pop-up camera.

Further, Honor 9X gets 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for connectivity. In addition to this, it packs a 4000mAh battery capacity and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.―Times Now
