Double Dutch: T-Mobile-Tele2 Merger Concludes

Tele2 Group and Deutsche Telekom (DT) have completed the merger of their Dutch operations; more than a year after the deal was first announced. Following the completion of the transaction, Tele2 NL has been absorbed by T-Mobile Netherlands. Tele2 Group now owns 25 percent of the enlarged T-Mobile Netherlands entity and DT holds the corresponding 75 percent stake. Tele2 also received a cash payment of EUR190.0 million (USD216.7 million), subject to standard closing adjustments.
