China Telecom announces results for Year 2022

China Telecom announced the annual results for the year ended 31 December 2022. The operating revenues of the period grew 9.5% YoY to RMB481.448 billion. The net profit thrived 6.3% YoY to RMB27.593 billion, in line with the range of RMB27.293-30.04 billion as projected by 16 brokers and compiled by our reporters. EPS was RMB0.3.

A final dividend of RMB7.6 fen per share was declared, against a dividend of RMB17 fen per share in the corresponding period of the previous year. Together with the interim dividend of RMB12 fen per share, the full-year DPS amounted to RMB19.6 fen, with the total issued dividend of the year accounting for 65% of the annual net profit. Aastocks
