BSNL To Launch 4G Services In Uttar Pradesh

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will be launching its much-awaited 4G services in Uttar Pradesh (East) circle by next week in 11 districts of Bundelkhand and Central parts of the state.

However, the company would introduce the new services in backward districts first and then only will reach to major cities.

Chief General Manager (CGM) T N Shukla here on Wednesday said the districts, where the 4G services would be launched next week, are Chitrakoot, Banda, Fatehpur, Kanpur Dehat, Pratapgarh, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Hamirpur, Jalaun, Mahoba and Lakhimpur Kheri.

Shukla said that the hardware has been updated in these districts. These districts have been taken in the first phase as there was a problem in the connectivity in these districts.

The BSNL CGM said that the company has decided to provide only 4G SIM to the consumers from now onwards in the entire circle as in other places, the new faster connectivity would be introduced by next month which includes Lucknow and other major cities.―Goa Chronicle
