Accenture names Pradeep Prabhala as India market unit lead
Accenture on Tuesday said it has appointed Pradeep Prabhala as the lead of its India Market Unit, effective September 1, 2026.
Prabhala will succeed Saurabh Kumar Sahu in the role, whose tenure ends on August 31.
In his new position, Prabhala will work with clients in India to leverage data and artificial intelligence (AI) to accelerate growth, enhance productivity, and build agile businesses, the IT services firm said in a statement.
“India is a strategic market for Accenture, and we are focused on accelerating growth here. As clients deepen their focus on technology-led reinvention and unlocking new value from data and AI, we see tremendous opportunity to help them lead. Pradeep’s extensive experience across industries and global markets makes him ideally positioned to drive this growth, and we are thrilled to welcome him to Accenture,” said Arundhati Chakraborty, Global Lead, Finance & GCC and Executive Sponsor â India Market Unit at Accenture.
Prabhala brings over two decades of experience advising global organisations on enterprise transformation, digital strategy, supply chain, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to this appointment, he served as a partner at McKinsey & Company, where he led the consumer sector in India and the agriculture practice across Asia.
His previous experience includes nearly a decade at Monitor Deloitte and a stint at Hindustan Unilever, where he was part of the founding team that established the fast-moving consumer goods major’s modern trade business in India. PTI
