Vodafone Idea’s data privacy head Anis Pakhania quits

Anis Pakhania has left Vodafone Idea to join Capgemini as Sr Director- Security Operations and Compliance. Pune-based Pankhania will be leading a team of specialized IT security and risk professionals.

Headquartered in France, Capgemini is a multinational corporation that provides consulting, technology, professional, and outsourcing services. The company operates in 40 countries with over 200,000 employees globally and half of them in India.

Pankhania served a 8-year long stint at Vodafone Idea as the Head – Security Compliance and Data Privacy. He is a highly experienced IT security practitioner specialized with managing compliance, privacy and risk mitigations strategies. He has worked in senior IT security roles in companies such as Aircel, IBM and Airtel.
