Vikas Agnihotri Takes Over As Interim Google India Head

As Rajan Anandan, VP for Google South East Asia moves on from his role at the tech giant to join the leadership team at Sequoia Capital India as Managing Director, Vikas Agnihotri, who’s in charge of sales across India for Google, will take over in the interim.

Anandan will continue in his current role until the end of the month. Scott Beaumont, President, Google Asia Pacific is expected to take up the position eventually.

Agnihotri has been associated with Google for over eight years. He joined the tech giant in 2011 as Director Auto, BFSI, CPG, Telecom, Travel, Media and Entertainment.

Prior to joining Google India, he was the CEO at Religare. He has also served stints at Deutsche Bank as Commercial Director Private and Business Clients and at Standard Chartered Bank as Sales Director, Consumer Banking.―Business World
