Vi FPO subscribed 49% with 617.46 cr shares, of 1260 cr shares

By end of Day Two, Vodafone Idea raised over Rs 12000 crore of offered Rs 18000 cr FPO, including Rs 5,400 crore from anchor investors. Of the 1,260 crore shares on offer, 617.46 crore equity shares were subscribed.

Qualified institutional investors led, buying 93 percent of their 360 crore shares reserved for them.

Non-institutional investors picked 75 percent out of 270 crore shares earmarked for them.

Response from retail investors, who have been offered the biggest chunk, was muted with 13 percent of 630 crore shares being picked up.

The ₹18,000 crore Vodafone Idea FPO is still more than 500 percent vacant.

The stock closed 2.3 percent down to Rs 12.90 on April 19.

Timeline. Vi FPO bidding opened for subscription on April 18, 2024, and will close on April 22, 2024. The allotment for the Vi FPO is expected to be finalized on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. Initiation of Refunds and Credit of Shares to Demat are scheduled for April 24. Vi FPO will list on BSE, and NSE with a tentative listing date fixed as Thursday, April 25, 2024.
