DoT recommends Sanjeev Kumar as CMD, TCIL

Sanjeev Kumar, Director (Technical), MTNL, has been selected for the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD), Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL) through Search-cum-Selection process set up by Department of Telecommunications on August 18, 2020.

Eight applicants had been invited for the interaction. Apart from Sanjeev Kumar, Director (Technical), MTNL who was selected, other applicants included Narendra Jain, Director (Finance), TCIL; Kamendra Kumar, Director (Technical), TCIL; Atul Kumar Rastogi, Executive Director (WI), TCIL; Devendra Kumar Agrawal, Sr. GM, BSNL; Ramakant Sharma, CGM, BSNL; Prashant Rao, Director (Systems, Electrical & Rolling Stock), Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation Ltd.; and Dr. Mahesh Shukla, ITS, CGM, BSNL.

The selection is subject to the outcome of the Original Application No. O.A/200/400/2020 in compliance with Central Administrative Tribunal of Jabalpur Bench order dated 14.08.2020.
