Samsung has released an update to the beta version of the Samsung Internet web browser for Android devices. The updated version of the app brings two very useful features that will make browsing the web on this app much easier and more secure than before.
The first feature is the ability for you to search bookmarks folder and tab groups in the browser. If you save a lot of bookmarks or open many tabs, you might know that it can get tricky to look for the bookmark or tab you want. With the updated version of the app, you can just type the bookmark or tab you are looking for in the search box and the app will bring it up for you.
The other feature is the ability to delete the browsing history within a specified time range. For example, if you clear the browsing data with the time range set to one week, the browser will delete the browsing history for the last seven days while preserving the previous browsing history. Earlier, the only option people had was to delete the entire browsing history.
Both features have been available in browsers such as Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge for a very long time. While Samsung is late to the party, we are glad that it is at least here. Expect the two features to trickle down to the stable version of the app very soon. In the meantime, you can download Samsung Internet Browser Beta either from the Google Play Store or the Galaxy Store. SAMMobile
