Optiemus, Quectel partner to manufacture wireless modules in India

Optiemus Electronics Limited (OEL) has announced a strategic manufacturing partnership with Quectel IoT Technologies PTE LTD. (Quectel), a global provider of IoT and wireless communication technologies, to locally manufacture advanced wireless communication modules in India. This collaboration marks a significant step in bolstering India’s electronics manufacturing ecosystem and addressing the rising demand for reliable, high-quality connectivity solutions across various industries.

Under the partnership, OEL will produce Quectel’s range of automotive, 5G, 4G, Cat-1, and other cellular modules at its cutting-edge manufacturing facilities in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. These modules are designed to support applications across sectors such as IoT, automotive, telecom, energy, smart mobility, industrial automation, telematics, and smart infrastructure.

The initiative aligns with the Government of India’s Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat vision, aiming to expedite time-to-market, enhance supply-chain resilience, and increase localisation for next-generation wireless technologies.

Quectel’s modules are pivotal in powering connected solutions used in vehicles, industrial systems, energy management, smart cities, and advanced telecom networks. Through this partnership with OEL, Quectel seeks to expand its footprint in the Indian market while ensuring world-class manufacturing standards, consistent quality, and scalable production.
