Huawei presents its case against Swedish 5G ban

Chinese equipment vendor Huawei has moved forward with its appeal against a move by the Swedish government to exclude its gear from Sweden’s 5G networks. Huawei says the ban is contrary to both Swedish and EU law, and is appealing a ruling by the Administrative Court from June this year which supported the government’s position. The vendor wants the Court of Appeal to consult with the European Court of Justice ‘to clarify several important issues regarding how EU law should be interpreted’. CommsUpdate
