DoT allocates 13 digit M2M numbering series to Bharti Airtel

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) accepted the request from Bharti Airtel for allocation of 20 lakh additional 13 digit M2M numbering series in Delhi LSA. DoT has accepted and allocated 13 digit M2M numbering series with the approval of the competent authority today.

Airtel has been allocated ‘575’ M2M Identifier 3 digits and Licensee Identifier 4-digits (10000 blocks) ‘4205-4206’ for Delhi

“In consideration of request of M/s Bharti Airtel to allocate the fresh new M2M mumbering resources for Delhi LSA, it is decided to allocated 2 million M2M numbering series to M/s Bharti Airtel for Delhi LSA,” stated DoT in a circular.
