DigiGaon Foundation: A New Name and a Renewed Commitment to Transforming Lives

Digigaon Job Factory Foundation is thrilled to announce a significant milestone in its journey toward a brighter and more inclusive future. With unwavering dedication to our mission, we have rebranded ourselves as “DigiGaon Foundation” under a new tagline: “Building Capacity Towards SDG 30 & Beyond.” This transformation represents our deep commitment to creating a lasting impact on society.

DigiGaon Foundation, a non profit organization operating under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013, is more than just an organization—it is a force for positive change. Our core values are rooted in a passion for social welfare and a belief in sustainable progress. To solidify our commitment, we are registered under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) to manage projects under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Furthermore, we have achieved the prestigious 80G and 12A registrations, reaffirming our dedication to transparency and accountability.

As we embrace this new identity and vision, we invite everyone to join us on our journey. Together, we will pave the way for a better tomorrow, driven by an unyielding dedication to making our world more equitable and sustainable for all.

The term “DigiGaon” was coined by the honorable Ravi Shankar Prasad, Former Minister of Communication, Government of India. His vision aimed to digitally connect the very heart of Indian society—its villages—and empower every rural citizen with digital literacy. This ambitious goal is supported by the Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF) provided by the Government of India, under the visionary leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Dr. Satya Narain Gupta, co-founder and evangelist of DigiGaon Foundation, has been instrumental in driving this initiative forward. His tireless efforts and dedication have played a pivotal role in the organization’s transformation and growth.

At DigiGaon Foundation, we are committed to building capacity, fostering development, and working toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our mission is to make our world a more equitable and sustainable place for all. Together, we will continue to empower rural India, one digital village at a time.
