Apple Seeks To Stop China Ban On Phones With Software Updates

Apple has said it will roll out software updates next week for some of its iPhone models, Reuters reported. The move comes after a court in China granted Qualcomm’s request for two preliminary injunctions regarding two patents. The decision means Apple may face a court ban in the country for its iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. Apple said the software updates will “address any possible concern about our compliance with the order.” – Telecompaper
