A huge welcome to K Rajaraman

K Rajaraman starts his new assignment as Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications today, Oct 1, 2021. His tenure is till October 31, 2023.

A Tamil Nadu IAS officer from the 1989 batch, prior to this Rajaraman was Additional Secretary, Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, since August 2018. He succeeds Anshu Prakash, a 1986 IAS officer who served as secretary, DoT, ministry of communications from August 2019 and additional secretary in the ministry from November 2018-July 2019.
