Tata Communications appoints Narottam Sharma as CTO
Tata Communications has appointed Narottam Sharma as its Chief Transformation Officer. He will assume the role in September 2026 and become a member of the company’s Global Management Committee.
Sharma joins Tata Communications from Jubilant FoodWorks, where he is Chief Information Officer. With more than two decades of experience, he has led digital transformation, AI-driven operating model redesign, process re-engineering and enterprise-wide technology initiatives.
Before joining Jubilant FoodWorks, Sharma held a senior transformation leadership role at Mastek and earlier served as Head – Technology Transformation at Sterlite.
Announcing the appointment, Ganesh Lakshminarayanan, MD & CEO, Tata Communications, said, “We are pleased to have Narottam join our leadership team. His experience in leading large-scale transformation and building future-ready organisations speaks for itself. We are confident that his ability to connect technology with business outcomes will help accelerate innovation and support our next phase of growth.”
