Vodafone Portugal buys country’s 4th largest telecoms operator

Vodafone Portugal has signed an agreement to buy Cabonitel, the company owning Nowo, in an operation expected to be completed in the first half of 2023. In a statement Vodafone announced it “has entered into an agreement with Llorca JVCO Limited, shareholder of Másmóvil Ibercom, S.A., for the purchase of Cabonitel S.A., owner of Nowo Communications, which is subject to the necessary regulatory approval”.
