True 5G now available in all districts of Kerala

Reliance Jio has taken a significant step forward by becoming the first and only telecom operator to provide True 5G services in all 14 district headquarters, 35 major cities, and over 100 small towns across Kerala. This milestone also extends to the surrounding villages, ensuring widespread access to Jio’s advanced network.

The cities of Payyanur, Tirur, Kayamkulam, Vadakara, Neyyattinkara, Perumbavoor, Kunnamkulam, Irinjalakuda, Koyilandy, Kottarakkara, Ponnani, Punalur, Chittur-Thathamangalam, Nedumangad, Kanhangad, Thiruvalla, Thalassery, Kottungalloor, Attingal, Muvattupuzha, Chengannur, Alappuzha, Palakkad, Kottayam, Cherthala, Malappuram, Kannur, Thrissur, Guruvayur, Kozhikode, Thiruvananthapuram, and Kochi are now equipped with Jio True 5G network coverage.

Reliance Jio has secured substantial 5G spectrum in the 3500 MHz and premium 700 MHz bands, ensuring seamless connectivity and leveraging carrier aggregation technology for enhanced indoor and outdoor experiences. Customers can enjoy unlimited usage at speeds exceeding 1 Gbps under the Jio Welcome Offer, available with eligible plans at no extra cost.

This remarkable achievement of providing comprehensive 5G coverage throughout Kerala has been realised within just six months since the initial 5G launch in December last year. A Jio spokesperson emphasised the company’s dedication to the people of Kerala, particularly the youth, and highlighted the immense growth opportunities True 5G services bring to various sectors such as tourism, manufacturing, SMEs, e-governance, education, healthcare, agriculture, automation, artificial intelligence, gaming, and IT.

Looking ahead, Jio plans to extend its True 5G services to every town and taluks across the country by the end of December 2023, further reinforcing its commitment to nationwide connectivity and technological advancement. JanamTV
