Telecom Infra Project opens TIP Academy

Telecom Infra Project (TIP) participants wanted an industry-led, operator and vendor neutral training service that addresses global skills and resource shortage in the telecom industry—creating a digitally fluent workforce that is able to participate or lead in solution design, development, testing, and deployment of open and disaggregated network solutions.

Research has shown companies with a digitally fluent workforce lead their peers in revenue growth and better worker satisfaction.

TIP Academy is a B2B learning service developed in response to this demand. It will offer courses that focus on open disaggregated solutions that are in development, and make use of case studies and online events so that members can learn from real-world experiences such as insights from tests in TIP Community Labs and pilot trials, which can be utilised within their respective organisations.

Vodafone, Accenture, and Deutsche Telekom have signed up to be charter clients of TIP Academy and will incorporate the platform into their employee learning programs.
