Singtel updates the exchange on partial divestment of shares in Airtel

Singtel has updated the exchanges in a regulatory filing, that its indirect wholly-owned subsidiaries, Pastel Limited and Viridian Limited, have sold and transferred an aggregate of 198 million shares of Bharti Airtel Limited (“BAL”), representing approximately 3.3% of the total number of equity shares of BAL1 . The consideration eventually received for this sale and transfer was approximately SGD 2.54 billion.
