Orange Poland begins latest stage of state-backed fibre rollout

Orange Poland has begun deployment of fibre network infrastructure under the government-subsidised Operational Programme Digital Poland (Programu Operacyjnego Polska Cyfrowa, POPC). A report from Telko.in says the operator will be covering 26,000 households in four regions. The state will provide PLN52 million (USD12.7 million) of funding, while Orange will invest PLN33 million.
