Minister must resolve the Tower Semiconductor challenge

“If Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister for Communications, Electronics & Information Technology can untangle and get the fab with Towers tech (whatever be its name & majority stakeholder) approved before EC notification, that IMO will compensate for the inability of 2 yrs to a large degree. If they can’t, why do we need Ministers?” queries Arun Mampazhy, a semiconductor veteran.

Mampazhy has also posted and raised the point, “The basis maybe Tower’s definitive agreement for tech transfer. If that is to ISMC and if NOVF (Next Orbit Ventures Fund) sold its stake in ISMC to BC Jindal, then wonder if they have a case, but we do not now details of the “T&C”. Whichever way, NOVF runs the risk of being called the spoiler.”
