Kaynes Tech’s acquisition with Digicom Electronics to expand in US market

Kaynes Technology is growing in the United States. Digicom Electronics, a California-based electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company, was recently acquired by the business. Kaynes has likewise gained 13.2% offers in California-based Mixx Advancements Inc. to lay out Kaynes as a “silicon to frameworks” producer for man-made brainpower (computer-based intelligence) and elite execution processing foundation.

Incorporated in May last year, Mixx is a deep-tech semiconductor startup bringing three-dimensional scalability to generative AI and high-performance computing systems by integrating the power of photonic circuits and advanced packaging, as per an exchange filing, as per economic times.

Mixx Technologies’ chief executive, Vivek Raghuraman, added that this is a relatively new area of the semiconductor ecosystem due to using photons rather than electrons to transmit data.

The innovation was first popularized by Intel, Cisco and Broadcom. “Now, with the advent of AI, there’s a rush to look at this technology by many more companies because of the benefits it brings in terms of power, performance, and density,” he said.

In October, Kaynes kicked things off for a reevaluated semiconductor, gathering and test (OSAT) office in Telangana at a venture of Rs 2,850 crore. Kaynes recorded on the NSE and the BSE in November 2022. The organization brought Rs 1,400 crore up in subsidizing in 2023 from Nomura, Goldman Sachs, PSP Speculations, Norges Bank, Carmignac, BNP Paribas and Acacia, among others.

“We are going to utilise this money in different phases and will set up our semiconductor (lines). We will look to set up our printed circuit board (PCB) lines too,” Chadha said.

The organization has a fabricating foundation in Mysuru, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Manesar, and Parwanoo, with administration focuses in Mumbai and Kochi. CIO Tech Outlook
