Job opportunities in telecom expected to grow by 20%

The telecom sector has seen a slight uptick in employment over the past few quarters as operators prepare for 5G services and new era technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), etc. According to recruitment firm TeamLease, in 2021, overall job opportunities are expected to grow in The field of communications increased by 20% in the state. According to TeamLease, the number of temporary telecoms employees has nearly doubled since 2019. “Teamlease saw 120% growth in Q2 compared to Q1 — and so far in Q3 we’re looking to hire double the telecom workforce compared to Q1,” said Singh. .

The recruitment firm said that the labor market in the telecom sector is growing and is expected to improve in the coming quarters. Telecom is one of the few industries that have grown even in 2020 for the world that needs to stay connected from home.
