Google cloud partners with AT&T for MEC solutions

Delivering 5G MEC solutions
Leading cloud computing service Google cloud has recently partnered with the US Telco AT&T to enable a range of 5G Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) for US enterprise customers. AT&T’s network will power edge computing solutions. Moreover, Google Cloud’s capabilities to provide solutions for Kubernetes, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), data and analytics will be leveraged by AT&T Network. “We are delighted to work with AT&T, a 5G leader, to help enterprises and the industry harness the potential of 5G,” said Thomas Kurian, CEO, Google Cloud


Addressing the real business challenges

Both companies intend to deliver a portfolio of 5G edge computing solutions. These solutions will bring together Google Cloud’s leading technologies, AT&T’s network, and edge computing. It will help enterprise customers address the real business challenges, and leverage the power of 5G MEC.

“Our co-innovation with AT&T aims to bring a multitude of 5G and Edge Computing solutions to address a diversity of use cases, driving real business value in industries like retail, manufacturing, gaming, and more. Unlocking cloud’s true potential
