FTTH Conference 2024 in Berlin, Germany: registration is now open

The FTTH Council Europe is pleased to announce the opening of the registration to the FTTH Conference 2024, taking place on 19-21 March 2024 at Messe Berlin, Germany, and the early bird offer that will allow Conference delegates to save 25% on the standard ticket price by signing up before 12th January 2024. From now on, visitors can purchase their tickets for the event via this link.

The FTTH Conference is Europe’s largest FTTH-focused event, attracting a very high-profile pan-European audience of decision-makers, investors, technical and regulatory experts: 46% of attendees are ‘C-level or Director level, with 90% of visitors coming from 42 European countries1.

The hosting country of the FTTH Conference 2024, Germany, is the largest FTTH market in the EU39+UK area, anticipated to experience significant growth in fibre coverage in the next five years2. There is still a lot of work to be done, not only in this market but at the European level, to meet the ambitious targets for digital connectivity set by the European Commission by 2030. This opens the door to many challenges, among which the slowdown in private investments, the issue of bringing fibre to rural areas, and the monetization of fibre networks, with a constant eye on sustainability strategies. These issues, common to most European countries, together with the latest regulatory developments for the telecom sector and the usual focuses on the most dynamic European markets, will find relevance within the programme of the event, featuring up to 24 workshops, 16 conference panel sessions, and multiple high-profile keynote speeches.

“Rotating the location of the event allows us to bring and adapt the experiences of the FTTH Council Europe’s members to the different market conditions we observe in Europe” commented Vincent Garnier, Director General of the FTTH Council Europe. “Next year’s FTTH Conference coincides with the 20th anniversary of our association: I am very much looking forward to welcoming all delegates to what promises to be our largest event yet”.

The event counts on a very high-level speaker line-up, with more speakers yet to be announced and among which feature:

  • Volker Wissing – Minister of Digital Affairs and Transport of the Federal Government of Germany
  • Srini Gopalan – Managing Director Germany at Deutsche Telekom
  • Marta Wojciechowska – CEO at Fiberhost
