Minister of State (MoS) for Communications Devusinh Chauhan took a review meeting with Secretary Telecom.

After that he tweeted, “for extending fibres to 6 lac villages as has been envisioned by Honble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji. It has been instructed that last mile connectivity should be ensured necessarily.”

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) plans to execute the target for extending fibres to 600,000 villages by 2025, as has been envisioned by Honble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
