EoIs submitted for BSNL’s 4G network for 57000 sites

Expressions-of-Interest have been submitted for an Open Tender (ID 2021_BSNL_66148_1) invited on January 5, 2021 for rollout of 4G network by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited. The tender is for planning, testing, deployment and annual maintenance of BSNL’s 4G network across four operational zones in addition to Delhi and Mumbai circles for 57,000 sites, on a turnkey basis.

The EoI was invited vide E-697 dated January 1, 2021.

The bidders are HFCL, L&T-Tech Mahindra (with Pertosl and Mavenir), ITI-TCS (with C-DoT and Tejas), ITI-Tejas, and Galore Networks-Bangalore.

The LoIs are now awaited from BSNL.

As the world, including India’s TSDSI moves to 6G; the Indian private service providers to 5G trials; BSNL is finalizing its orders for 4G network.
