COAI welcomes DoT Secretary

SP Kochhar, the Director General of the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), welcomed Neeraj Mittal, new Secretary of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) in New Delhi, as he took charge.

Kochhar highlighted Mittal’s prior experience as the Principal Secretary in the IT Department of the Government of Tamil Nadu, noting his understanding of industry challenges related to Right of Way (RoW) and the development of telecom infrastructure. And said the experience would be beneficial in addressing challenges related to nationwide 5G deployments and other industry issues.
