Another feather in Vibrant Gujarat 2024’s cap-Nvidia powered Yotta Data Centre

Nvidia, is set to bolster India’s technological landscape with the launch of a state-of-the-art AI data center in GIFT City, Gujarat. The initiative, in collaboration with Yotta, is poised to commence operations before the end of March, as revealed at Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2024.

Shankar Trivedi, Senior VP, Nvidia Global Field Operations, expressed his enthusiasm for this groundbreaking venture during the summit. “Our partner Yotta is setting up a state-of-the-art AI Data Center here in Gift City, and it’ll be available and go live before the end of March.”

Further, Trivedi emphasised the transformative potential of generative AI, drawing parallels with the impact of the internet and mobile revolutions, foreseeing its influence on work, business, governance, and daily life.

Speaking about India, Trivedi said, “India has scale, India has talent. India has amazing data. India has a unique culture.” He underscored the need for scalable AI data center infrastructure to support generative AI effectively.

He stressed on Nvidia’s commitment to skills development in the AI domain is manifesting through the creation of digital content aimed at educating hundreds of thousands of students, developers and researchers across the country. This curriculum on generative AI is being extended to business partners, including global systems integrators, Trivedi said.
