Realme U1 To Launch In November 28 To Be Exclusively Available On Amazon

Chinese smartphone brand Realme is all set to launch its latest smartphone in India. The company has already announced that the smartphone will come under the new U series of smartphones and will be a selfie-centric device. The new smartphone will be called Realme U1 and it will be exclusively available on Amazon.

The Amazon India website is running a banner of the smartphone which says, “Realme U1, India’s Selfie Pro to launch on November 28 at 12.30PM.” The Realme U1 will be powered by MediaTek’s Helio P70 processor. The new chipset from MediaTek is said to offer 13% better performance as compared to its predecessor. The company claims that the chipset is made with TSMC’s 12nm FinFET technology. It comes with a multi-core APU which operates up to 525 MHz. The chipset also consists of four Arm Corte-A73 processors and four Cortex A53 processors. The company claims that this setting increases the performance of AI based applications. It is also said that the processor will offer enhanced gaming experience to the users.

The Realme U1 will also be the first smartphone from Realme to come with a water drop like notch display, which the company is calling as Dewdrop notch.

The smartphone is likely to run Android 8.0 Oreo operating system and comes with a powerful front camera setup. Apart from this, no other information about the smartphone is known right now.

Recently, Realme announced that it will offer Android Pie update to its Realme 1 and Realme 2 smartphones. With the Android Pie update both the smartphones will get features like New system navigation, Smart Text Selection, Redesigned Quick Settings, Simplified Volume Controls, New Dashboard, App Timer, New Do Not Disturb mode and Wind Down feature. – Gadgets Now
