Xiaomi, OnePlus roll out fresh July price hikes on budget phones

Xiaomi and OnePlus have quietly pushed through fresh price hikes across select budget smartphones and tablets in India, effective mid‑July 2026.

Xiaomi has raised prices of its Redmi A7 4G and Redmi A7 Pro 4G by ₹1,000 each, taking the 3GB+64GB A7 from ₹11,499 to ₹12,499 and the 4GB+64GB A7 Pro from ₹12,499 to ₹13,499.

On the tablet side, OnePlus has revised MRPs for its Pad Lite and Pad Go 2 lineup. The Pad Lite 6GB/128GB now costs ₹19,999 (up ₹1,000), while the Pad Lite 8GB/128GB jumps from ₹20,999 to ₹22,999. The Pad Go 2 Wi‑Fi 8GB/128GB moves to ₹29,999, a ₹1,000 increase.

These hikes underscore continuing cost pressures in the entry‑ and mid‑tier Android ecosystem, even as brands rely on sale events and bank offers to soften the impact at checkout.
