ZTE Unveils End-To-End 5G Solutions At India Mobile Congress 2018

ZTE Corporation, a major international provider of telecommunications, enterprise and consumer technology solutions for the Mobile Internet, today unveiled a series of cutting-edge 5G solutions and products at India Mobile Congress 2018, held in New Delhi from October 25^th to 27^th.

With the slogan of “Leading 5G Innovations”, ZTE presented its exhibition from the aspects of “Progressively 5G Commercialization”, “Boundless 5G Connectivity”, “Intelligent 5G Cloudification” and “Smart Devices”.

“Progressive 5G Commercialization” Exhibition Area

ZTE introduced the latest progress in standard setting, product development, commercial verification and industrial cooperation, showing its 5G leadership in commercialization, technologies and economies of scale.

ZTE demonstrated a series of 5G commercial field trials with three major Chinese operators and multiple overseas operators. For instance, the most prominent 3.5GHz based 5G continuous coverage experimental network is the closest to the commercial 5G network.

In addition, ZTE showcased a new generation of low-frequency AAU based on the 3.5GHz frequency band and the industry’s largest capacity NG BBU, which can support both 4G and 5G and fully meet the requirements of 5G commercial networks.

“Boundless 5G Connectivity” Exhibition Area

ZTE presented NSA 4G and 5G converged networking solutions based on the 3GPP standard, as well as a series of multi-band, multi-standard new products. For instance, ZTE’s optical access flagship platform TITAN is the industry’s most powerful optical cable  equipment.

These solutions and products can facilitate operators to upgrade the existing 4G network to 5G  smoothly and save the investment in 4G.

“Intelligent 5G Cloudification” Exhibition Area

ZTE introduced a variety of leading 5G solutions. For example, ZTE’s 5G Flexhaul solution is verified by many operators and ready for commercial use.

Moreover, ZTE’s E-OTN integrated solution can achieve 200G/ 100G lossless hybrid transmission, with double bandwidth and no distance reduced, thereby greatly reducing the difficulty and the cost of 100G deployment.

ZTE also demonstrated the new 5G Common Core solution, which supports the full integration of 2/3/4/5G networks, facilitating operators’ 5G deployment.

“Smart Devices” Exhibition Area

This area showcased ZTE’s newly launched flagship device Axon 9 Pro and Blade series.

Applying to all types of devices including 5G smart phones, 5G PAD, 5G indoor and outdoor routers, 5G mobile AP, ZTE’s 5G solution can meet a variety of requirements.

In order to further help customers understand the network evolution to the futuristic 5G, several high-level experts from ZTE Global CTO Group delivered keynote speeches in the exhibition.

ZTE experts shared the latest insights and concepts, and provided customers with customized solutions based on their key concerns. More importantly, they explored 5G industrial collaboration, technological innovation, commercial practices and industrial applications to build a new 5G ecosystem in India.

Organized by Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), India Mobile Congress is the highest-level exhibition in Indian telecoms and mobile internet industry.

This exhibition attracted about 150 telecom experts from major Indian operators, such as Vodafone IDEA and IDEA, as well as Internet service providers and media.

Currently, India’s 4G landscape has begun to take shape, and traffic is growing rapidly. Leading operators in India have already initiated 5G tests and verification.

ZTE is working closely with major operators in India to provide end-to-end solutions covering 5G core technologies, network operations and industrial applications, preparing for the early deployment of 5G commercial networks. – CT Bureau
