ZTE is Supported by India Operators, Signing New Deals

Since the denial order was terminated on July 13th, ZTE is now resuming its normal business operation activities. The relationship with operators and suppliers in China & overseas market are steady and they support ZTE a lot. As reported, ZTE participated in 5G & Future network Strategy Workshop held by Future Mobile Communication Forum on July 17, and industry peers offered their congratulations to ZTE. In overseas market, ZTE faced some issues, but most of partners understand the temporary difficulties of ZTE, expressed their support and trust to ZTE.

In India, ZTE seems to be indispensable for the whole industry. In the last few days after the denial order is terminated, ZTE has signed new deals with several operators and enterprise partners. As reported, ZTE got new purchase order from Bharti Airtel.

Bharti Airtel, the largest wireless operator in India both in terms of customers and revenues, has more than 300 million subscribers in this nation. ZTE has built 2G, 3G, 4G wireless network for Bharti Airtel in last 5 years, is one of the important partners of Bharti Airtel. The cooperative relationship between ZTE and Bharti Airtel is very close, and ZTE is preparing to deploy leading technology for Bharti Airtel. ZTE had already tested Massive MIMO technology & Devops based Cloud Core Network in Bharti Airtel.

Besides , BSNL, India’s largest stated-owned operator, has already awarded contract for approximate 4000 4G and 10000 3G sites along with Core Network & MPBN in North and East Zone to ZTE . After the Denial Order is lifted, execution and rollout has been started and new supplies are also regained. BSNL has signed 5G strategic cooperation MoU during the India Mobile Congress last year.

IDEA, India leading mobile operator is also a long term partner and had supported ZTE during this period. Now ZTE has resumed all the business operations with full force.

Overseas operators announced to strengthen cooperation with ZTE root in their rich advantages on 5G technology and products in the industry. Despite nearly three months period of suspended operations, ZTE hasn’t lost core capability. – CT Bureau
