Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro To Launch In India Soon, Storage, Colour Variants Leaked

Xiaomi will reportedly launch Redmi Note 6 Pro in India soon. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro was recently launched in Thailand at THB 6,990 which is approximately Rs 15,600.

The smartphone will be the successor of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro which was launched in India earlier this year. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is priced at Rs 14,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and Rs 16,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

According to a new report from MySmartPrice, Redmi Note 6 Pro is expected to be announced in two storage variants: 4GB RAM with 64GB internal memory and 6GB RAM with 64GB memory. However, it is to be noted that Xiaomi only launched 4GB RAM variant in Thailand.

Further, the report says that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will be available in four colour variants: Blue, Red, Black and Rose Gold. The phone is speculated to be announced in November at a launch event to be held in India.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro features a 6.26-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution. The display comes with 19:9 aspect ratio 500 nits brightness, and 86 percent screen-to-body ratio. For the graphics, the phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 1.8GHz octa-core processor which is coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. For security features, the phone has Face Unlock and fingerprint sensor.

Redmi Note 6 Pro smartphone will likely have two variants – 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB internal storage and expandable memory up to 128GB with microSD. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) operating system out-of-the-box with MIUI 9 and the phone gets its strenght from a 4,000mAh battery with fast charging support.

Under the camera department, the Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with four cameras – two rear and two front. The dual rear comes with a combination of 12-megapixel primary sensor with dual Pixel autofocus and f/1.9 aperture, and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor for depth sensing. On the front, the phone has dual cameras that include a primary 20-megapixel camera and a secondary 2-megapixel depth sensor. There are some AI features for the camera.
