“It is an exciting time to be at WatchGuard for those hungry to build cutting-edge technology, as the company continues to transform the network security industry and redefine the security market. I couldn’t be more thrilled to be leading the company’s new presence in India,” said Awanti Singh, vice president of engineering and head of India. “The primary focus for our new team will be to drive R&D for new WatchGuard Cloud platform features and to provide IT Development for our key product initiatives, enabling the company to continue its already impressive pace of product innovation.”

She is also an active member of GIC NASSCOM, her local NCR chapter and President Rotaract Club.

“WatchGuard’s unrelenting commitment to product innovation relies heavily on our global engineering team’s growing R&D capabilities, which is why our decision to add more fuel to the fire by launching the new India office came easily,” said Prakash Panjwani, CEO of WatchGuard. “We believe that our people are this company’s most important asset and I know that the vast engineering and leadership experience Awanti brings to the table, along with the immensely gifted team she’s building in India, will be instrumental in the continued development of WatchGuard Cloud and to our accelerated growth and momentum in 2019 and beyond.”

WatchGuard has been a leader in the network security space for more than 20 years and has showcased its penchant for developing revolutionary technology in recent years with exciting new additions to its product portfolio including advanced multi-tier, multi-tenant management systems, secure Wi-Fi, multi-factor authentication, and network intelligence solutions. As the company’s first office in India, the new location enhances the company’s ever-expanding global presence and was strategically selected due to the abundance of skilled engineering talent, the business environment and culture, and WatchGuard’s existing relationships in the region.

The office is centrally located at Advant IT Park, Sector 142, Noida and is easily accessible by public transport. The new Metro Aqua line is just 30 meters away.―CT Bureau
